out of your way
We want you to focus on your creativity
You may have a great script, the hottest stars and the best crew ever imaginable, as well as state-of-the-art equipment; however, if locations are not the right ones for your story, permits haven’t been granted to your production or your team starts feeling sick because they haven’t gotten a good sleep or proper meals… oh well, you can imagine what would happen.
That’s why such details should never be taken for granted, especially when working in a foreign country and culture.
Still, you shouldn’t waste valuable time figuring out how to make things happen in Cambodia. Let us find and arrange things for you:
Within its nearly 182,000 Km² area, Cambodia has plenty of interesting places to offer, besides the well-known dazzling Angkorian temples already portrayed in several Hollywood blockbusters and many other worldwide productions. Such places include a diversity of captivating landscapes, such as: beaches, forests, mountains, caves, waterfalls, islands, rivers, cities, rural towns, flat lands and, of course… rice fields.
It’s very simple: to shoot in Cambodia you need filming permits issued by the government and authorizations from local jurisdictions, as well as, property owners. Do not take unnecessary risks which might stop or cancel your production and confiscate your equipment and footage. The application process must be started early on, before the shooting dates, and all paperwork sent to the right places.
Go wherever your story takes you to, safely and comfortably, always aboard your preferred choice of vehicle: tuk tuk, sedan, SUV, van, bus, motorcycle, boat, etc. Relying on experienced and dedicated drivers will definitely make a difference and take a burden off your shoulders.
When it comes to flavors, the Khmer cuisine is certainly one of the richest in the world and you should see it for yourself. Not only does Cambodian gastronomy have an amazingly varied food selection, but also a very healthy one, made almost entirely of fresh and natural ingredients from the land, the rivers and the sea. In addition to local dishes, the influence of many foreign cultures living in Cambodia has greatly widened the options available, pretty much to cuisines from every continent on Earth. And of course, this mix is available to cater your team.
“Sleep is the best meditation” says Dalai Lama. Resting well should not be seen as a luxury, but as a necessity or investment, if you will. Believe it or not, the difference between poor and good accommodation is nothing but productivity. Keep your team’s bodies and minds fit and, we are sure, the pay off will make you very happy. There are plenty of places to stay in Cambodia, suitable to all sorts of budget, but some times they might not necessarily be the most convenient ones for your project. We’ll choose wisely on your behalf.
Alright, alright, we know, the picture is a little bit too much. But plan for the worst and expect the best. Film and TV productions already cost a lot of money when everything goes well, but a lot more if something goes wrong. Thus, you will agree with us that it’s always soothing to have a safety net underneath. Protect your equipment and team against any misfortune. When it comes to insurance policies, it’s always better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them.
Sit back and think about your story,
while we get everything ready for you.
